Humber Athletics

Humber Athletics facilitates and augments the education and growth of its student-athletes through their participation in competitive OCAA and CCAA athletics. The athletics centre is a hub for the local community, bringing students and neighbours together, while offering an array of fitness programs and facilities, as well as intramural and varsity sports.

Men's hockey team wins OCAA championships

Humber’s men’s hockey team won an unprecedented five consecutive OCAA championships

 

2001

CBC aired a documentary on the Humber men’s basketball team

Beginning in 2000, CBC aired an eight-part documentary series titled, The Team, about the 2001 Humber men's basketball team.

 

2012

Men’s golf team wins their 10th CCAA championship

Over the course of 12 years, the men’s golf team at Humber won a total of 10 CCAA championships

 

2015

Men’s soccer team wins the CCAA National Championship

Humber’s men’s soccer team defied all odds and won the CCAA National Championship while playing two men down for over 90 minutes.

 

2016

Women’s basketball team first female team to win a CCAA championship

The Women’s Basketball team made history in 2016 by becoming the first female OCAA team to win a CCAA national championship in 42 years.
