Culture Days raises the awareness, accessibility, participation and engagement of Canadians in the arts and cultural life of their communities. With the support of volunteer groups at the national, provincial and local levels, hundreds of thousands of artists, cultural workers, organizations and groups, volunteers and supporters self-mobilize to host free participatory public activities that take place in hundreds of cities and towns throughout the country over the last weekend of September each year.
Humber Lakeshore Campus will once again be participating in Culture Days with our presenting community Lakeshore Arts and supporting partners Assembly Hall, Mimico by the Lake BIA and Placebo Space. EL Culture Days is a FREE and engaging weekend of workshops dedicated to celebrating Etobicoke’s diverse culture and heritage. This year activities range from a larger than life paper garden to a lesson in Bollywood dancing. No matter what your age or interests, there’s bound to be something for everyone. Come join the fun!
